ALLEN LUND: Ken Lund, vice president of La Canada, Calif.-based Allen Lund Co. and ALC Logistics, says the company’s transportation management system has been growing fast and helps shippers and receivers get dramatically more information about their shipments. Lund says it’s designed specifically for the challenges of shipping produce, and about $1.5 billion in freight spend is now running through the system.
